  2. Nice work. I like the darker themes. I'm trying to mod my widgetlocker framework to change the stock notification icon, but I'm unsure which file it pulls from. Since I'm on a Droid X, (HDPI) should I mod the notification_bar.PNG under drawable-hdpi from the data/app/widgetlocker/framework-Res.apk? Or do I have to go through the system folder? I also want to do this for my advanced task killer, but I'm not trying to just wing it with no expirence. Anyways, if you can link me to a tut or just shoot me a quick explination it would be much appreciated.

  5. @Sam: your evo has to be rooted with an S-OFF. im using MIUI rom which is just beautiful and easy to theme using the theme manager..

  6. @suprano I went and modded the widget locker apk eariler. Lets just say it nearly bricked my phone. Froze up all my Widgets, threw my phone into 110°F+ mode, was rebooting for 5 minutes straight. Not sure what I did wrong. I went and downloaded some themes from the market that theme the icon, and basically they just use an .XML to redirected the icon to an image. But yet I can't just replace the image and put the zip back with ninja? >:/ Learning this stuff is a pain, but I enjoy it.

  7. oh dang..that's crazy. I tried to mod the notification icon for it as well but for some reason, the apk didn't decompile. I used apktool & apkmanager but they all refused to decompile the WL app. if it has anything to do with xml, then bro you asking the wrong person..lol I'm still trying to learn more but for now, I only know basic.

  8. Yeah it's weird. I got it to decomplie in ninja, but idk what the deal was. I did a little trickery and copied the Widget locker apk, replaced the files and then installed it afterwords. It's saying its corrupt or some crap. Idk man. I might have to ask kgill. Amateur my butt. I wish I could do half the stuff you do :P I'm checking this blog 3 times a day just to learn >.<

  9. lol ok if you are getting corrupt when installing, try moving the WL apk to system/apps then change permissions to that of the same as the apps in that folder & reboot. I might work as a system app

  10. @Taylor...I read from somewhere that ADWEX has something to do with the WL notification icon in the status bar..
